Former Sunderland striker Martin Smith is a big fan of Stephane Sessegnon.

The Benin ace has emerged as one of the most sought-after players in England.

"Stephane has been our star man all season and has really stood out," Smith told safc.com.

"In certain games he has been unplayable and has started adding goals to his game too.

"He is the man in the team who can do things that are that little bit different and can leave you on the edge of your seat.

"He has had a fantastic first full season and we couldn't have asked any more from him, really."
