Former Reading and Stoke City striker Dave Kitson is planning to return to football.
The Sentinel says Kitson is ready to come out of retirement and start playing again.
Now 34, he recently rejoined old club Arlesey Town as assistant manager.
But needs must and now he is being urged to lace up his boots once more for the struggling Southern League Premier Division outfit.
