Midfielder Lewis Neal is back in his native England awaiting a work permit so he can officially join DC United.
The 30-year old signed with the Washington outfit two weeks ago but has yet to obtain a US visa to allow him to play MLS.
Neal kicked off his career with Stoke City back in 2000 and has since played with the likes of Preston North End, Shrewsbury Town and most recently Orlando City who are coached by former Stoke and Everton striker Adrian Heath.
