Perth Glory have been boosted by the news that striker Billy Mehmet and captain Jacob Burns have both signed new contracts.
The pair have penned deals keeping them at the nib Stadium until at least the end of the 2013/14 season with Burns looking to lead the fourth-placed Glory into the finals this campaign.
"I think we have an opportunity to maybe have a home final and that's something that sits in my belly and something that I really want to push towards.""It's fantastic, I am over the moon, really happy to be here and hopefully this year we can push into the finals again," the former Leeds United, Barnsley and Wisla Krakow midfielder said.
Burns, who was the club's Most Glorious Player award last season, has appeared almost 70 times since joining in 2009, whilst former St Mirren striker Mehmet has scored four goals in 18 outings this term.
