Billy Mehmet has signed with Indian club Dempo SC according to reports.

The 29-year old striker heads to the I-League after a stint in Thailand with Bangkok Glass FC.

Mehmet kicked off his career in Scotland with Dunfermline Athletic in 2003 and has since had spells with St Mirren, Genclerbirligi, Samsunspor and Perth Glory.
