Steven McGarry has signed a new deal with A-League club Perth Glory it has been confirmed.

The 32-year old Scottish midfielder has extended his stay at the Western Australian club until the end of the 2012/13 season after originally joining in January 2010.

"I am delighted to sign a contract extension," the former St Mirren and Motherwell man said.

"It's great to be involved in a club that had such a great end to the season.

"The possible prospect of playing in the Asian Champions League is exciting and a big step forward for the club.

"My preference was always to stay with Perth Glory in a city that has made me and my family extremely welcome."
