Former Tottenham fullback Benoit Assou-Ekotto has priced himself out of a move to Serie A.
The Cameroon international was released by Spurs from his contract last week.
TMW says Assou-Ekotto was offered to Cagliari, Genoa and Hellas Verona, but nothing could be agreed.
The defender, therefore remains available as a free agent.
The 30 year-old last season played on-loan with QPR.
