Damien Comolli is being linked with a return to English football.

The Express & Star says the former Liverpool and Tottenham football chief is interesting Aston Villa.

Comolli, who worked with Sherwood at Tottenham Hotspur, is the favourite should the position be created, having also worked at Liverpool.

But former United States national boss Bob Bradley, who has been linked to the manager's job in the past, may be American owner Randy Lerner's choice.
