Former Tottenham chairman Alan Sugar has slammed the America owners of Premier League clubs.

Lord Sugar has criticised Manchester United owners the Glazers and Liverpool owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett for heaping huge debts on their clubs, says the Daily Mail.

The former Tottenham owner said they are "asking for problems" by not using their own money and lumbering the clubs with huge interest repayments.
