Ex-Spurs boss Pochettino: Messi and I for Newell's Old Boys!

Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino admits he'd like to coach Newell's Old Boys in the future.

And the Argentine says he'd be happy to wait to work with Barcelona star Leo Messi at their former club. Both Pochettino and Messi were tied to Newell's early in their career.

"I hope someday to return to the club," said a Pochettino, when asked about Newell's.

"I can still wait, to be the best we can do so for ten years with Messi."

Pochettino also insists Messi is capable of leading Argentina to World Cup glory in 2022.

"The next World Cup is a huge goal for Messi and for the Argentine team," said Pochettino. "I hope he arrives at a great moment. Age is catching him."
