Former Tottenham manager Christian Gross has backed Manchester United's pursuit of Schalke goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Gross saw plenty of Neuer last season when in charge of Stuttgart.
He told talkSPORT: "He's a fantastic goalkeeper.
"He will be a fantastic choice for Manchester United. He's already got a lot of experience, he's a good footballer, he's brave, he's good on the ball. He's a really excellent goalkeeper."
