Central Coast Mariners' Nick Montgomery says he is looking forward to again coming up against Emile Heskey.
The Mariners take on the Newcastle Jets in the F3 derby at the Hunter Stadium on Saturday and the former Sheffield United midfielder insists he will relish the contest with the former Liverpool, Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa.
"He's had a fantastic career," Montgomery said of Heskey.
"I've been fortunate to play against him a couple of times. He's a big, strong, powerful striker. He brings other players into play and obviously gets his fair share of goals as well."
And Montgomery insists he won't be using Sheffield United's negative result to Heskey's Wigan in 2007, which relegated the Blades from the Premier League, as impetus for this weekend's clash.
"I remember the day and we just needed Manchester United to win at home to West Ham and it wouldn't have mattered what result we had," he added.
"But unfortunately for me Man United lost to West Ham and we conceded a penalty to Wigan that day which got us relegated from the Premier League.
"It was a massive, massive blow for my career and obviously a bad memory, but that's all in the past now."
