Former Real Salt Lake forward Robbie Findley is on the verge of making his Nottingham Forest debut.
The 25-year old USA international joined the English Championship club in January but has been unable to play because of a torn thigh muscle and an Achilles problem.
However, Findley is almost at full fitness and Forest boss Billy Davies is ready to welcome him into the promotion-chasing squad.
"He's working very hard at building up his speed and sharpness and we're very hopeful of him being in action before the end of the season," Davies told the club's official website.
"It's been a very difficult time for him but he could be a very important player for us over the last three or four games.
"He will give us options and the more we have of them the better."
Seventh-placed Forest take on third-placed Norwich City in a crucial contest for their promotion hopes at Carrow Road on Friday night.
