Former Real Madrid and AC Milan star Robinho has signed for Turkey's Sivasspor.

It is expected that he will arrive in Sivas on Tuesday to make the move official and put pen to paper on his contract.

The Brazilian is currently in a very complicated legal situation after being sentenced to nine years in prison by a Milanese court on rape charges in 2013.

He has already insisted that he is going to appeal that sentence.

"All legal proceedings are currently being studied," said his lawyer Marisa Alija.

"He has already said that he did not participate in that episode."
