Former Real Madrid and Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil has sung the praises of Toni Rudiger.

The defender proved Real Madrid's matchwinner against Real Mallorca yesterday.

Ozil has declared Rudiger the best defender in the world after watching Real's triumph.

He posted to social media: “You can ask (Erling) Haaland or (Victor) Osimhen how good Rüdiger is. He is simply the best defender in the world right now"
