Former Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano is eager to see the arrival of PSG star Kylian Mbappe.

Inside the final year of his PSG deal, Mbappe has been banished to train with the B squad this week as he refuses to trigger the 12 month option in his contract.

Valdano is keen to see Real Madrid rescue the striker from Paris this month.

Speaking from Luque, Paraguay, Valdano told Efe: "If people are still angry with him, don't worry, I'll pick him up at the airport.

"At the moment it is not a case. It is, for now, a non-case. I hope it becomes a case..."
