Falkirk manager Steven Pressley will be appointed as Coventry City manager on Thursday.
The former Rangers and Heart of Midlothian defender is set to replace Mark Robins, who left the role three weeks ago, with Falkirk technical director Alex Smith confirming the appointment.
"Coventry are a huge club, whom he has played for and it's a wonderful opportunity. I think it will happen," he said.
"There's been a lot of attention drawn to him because of the success of the young team.
"He's charismatic and the kind of person clubs down south are seeking to work within their means."
