Former Parma defender Lorenzo Minotti has hailed AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud.

Giroud has been one of the big successes with France at this year's World Cup.

Ahead of the semifinal with Morocco, Minotti told Sky Calcio: “Giroud is of his age but he is a perfect professional. Everyone who works with him has explained very well how attentive he is to detail.

"Today's football allows you to play at certain levels even at this age.

"Giroud also makes the others play well, he makes them play in the best conditions."
