Brighton & Hove Albion are on the verge of confirming Chris Hughton as their new manager.
The Seagulls have been on the hunt for a replacement for Sami Hyypia, who quit his job last week, and reports suggest that Hughton is the man to step into the Amex Stadium hotseat.
The Daily Star suggests that 56-year old Hughton had a second interview with Brighton on Sunday and it is believed that he will be unveiled as the new Seagulls boss soon.
Of the proposed move, Hughton said: "It's a very good club, a club that has a trememdous infrastructure - a new stadium, a new training facility.
"Anybody like myself who has been out for a while would certainly be interested in that type of job."
Former Newcastle United and Birmingham City manager Hughton has been out of managerial work since his departure from Norwich City in April 2014.
