Former Newcastle United defender Olivier Bernard is reportedly training with Toronto FC.
The 30-year old Frenchman announced his retirement from the game when he was at Newcastle in 2007 but it seems he may be trying to resurrect his career in the USA.
Bernard enjoyed a successful time in Europe, beginning his career with Olympique Lyonnais before moving to St James' Park to join the Magpies in 200. During that time he had a loan stint with Darlington before he departed Newcastle for Southampton in 2005.
He then had one season with Scottish giants Rangers before returning to Newcastle where he retired due to a hip injury.
