Ex-Newcastle ace Cabaye: 'I absolutely don't regret' PSG move

Yohan Cabaye insists he does not regret his big-money move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The French midfielder joined the Parisian giants from Newcastle United for around £20million in late January but has started just once for Laurent Blanc for a total of eight appearances in all competitions.

Cabaye has gone from being the star player at St James' Park to the periphery at Parc des Princes but he has made it clear that he is not too bothered as he is prepared to work his way into the PSG line-up.

"I want to focus on the positive aspects - they are a great club and I'm training with great players," Cabaye told RTL.

"I have gone from a situation at Newcastle where I was an automatic starter to one where I don't know when I will next play.

"However, I absolutely don't regret my decision, I have come here to win and climb the hierarchy."

Cabaye scored his first goal for PSG when he came off the bench to grab his side's fourth in the 4-0 Champions League win over Bayer Leverkusen last month.
