Ex-Monaco coach Ranieri set to take Greece job

Sacked AS Monaco boss Claudio Ranieri is in talks to become the new coach of Greece.

Fernando Santos is set to leave after their World Cup campaign this summer, and Sport24 says a deal with Ranieri has already been agreed.

The Hellenic Association will pay the 62-year-old a reported €800,000 per season for two years, with the aim of qualifying for the European Championships in France in 2016.

Former Chelsea and Juventus boss was sacked by Monaco at the end of last season.
