Former Melbourne Victory striker Danny Allsopp is currently out of action for MLS club DC United because of a hamstring injury.

The 31-year old has started the last two matches for his new team, who are yet to record a win in five league outings so far, but will be forced out of at least their next match.

DCU take on FC Dallas at RFK Stadium in today's US Open Cup preliminary match but will be without Allsopp who may miss the league clash with New York Red Bull on the weekend.
