Former Manchester United winger Bojan Djordjic was fuming at the end of last night's Carabao Cup clash at Manchester City.

United won the second-leg 1-0, but lost the semifinal 3-2 on aggregate.

At the end of the game, United had a free-kick chance, but Fred hit his effort against City's wall. Many, including Djordjic, felt Juan Mata should've taken the set-piece.

"I wanted to tear my hair out, but I had too much wax," declared Djordjic afterwards, calling the game.

"I don't understand the thinking (of Mata not taking the free-kick)."
