Released Manchester United striker Michael Owen is expected to announce tomorrow where he will be playing this season.
The former England international has been without a club all summer after being released by Manchester United and a potential move to Liverpool has seemingly been blocked.
Anfield principal owner John W Henry has revealed the club will not be entering into any short-term quick fixes to plug the gaps in the wafer-thin attack, leaving the 32-year-old to look elsewhere.
And it now seems Stoke and Sunderland are the front runners to land his signature in the next 24 hours after a revealing exchange with Joey Barton on the micro-blogging site.
Barton - who has recently joined French Ligue 1 side Marseille - enquired "where you off mate?", to which Owen replied "I will tell you on Wednesday!"
