Released Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao will take a massive pay-cut to secure a move to Chelsea this summer.

Falcao is keen to join the champions and is willing to take a massive pay cut to make the deal happen - his current deal with Monaco is worth £265,000 a week.

The Mirror says the Colombian is ready to accept being part of Chelsea's squad and Blues boss Jose Mourinho is considering the deal which would see him back up Diego Costa and Loic Remy. Agent Jorge Mendes is trying to broker the deal as he looks after both Falcao and Mourinho.

Falcao is keen to resolve his future before the Copa America and is desperate to prove a point after his poor spell at Old Trafford.
