Patrice Evra has labelled Juventus colleague Carlos Tevez as a 'champion' with 'United blood'.
The Argentine striker created one goal and scored the other as the Bianconeri defeated Real Madrid 2-1 in the Champions League semi-final first leg in Turin on Tuesday night.
In the wake of the victory, ex-Manchester United left-back Evra praised his fellow former Old Trafford ace for his performance and insisted that the pair were after Champions League glory together.
"Carlos Tevez has United blood like myself. He is a champion," Evra told ITV.
"He has had a fantastic year and we want to win the Champions League. He is a massive professional."
Tevez forced a low save from Iker Casillas with the rebound being tucked away by Alvaro Morata inside 10 minutes before Cristiano Ronaldo levelled on 27 minutes with a free back post header from a James Rodriguez cross.
Former Manchester City star Tevez was then fouled in the area by Dani Carvajal, winning a 57th-minute penalty, which he fired past Casillas to give Juve the win ahead of the return bout at the Santiago Bernabeu next Wednesday.
