Former Manchester United No2 Mike Phelan is favourite for the Birmingham City job.

Birmingham are seeking a new manager after the dismissal of Lee Clark.

The Birmingham Mail says Phelan is the early front runner to become the new Birmingham manager.

And Blues director Panos Pavlakis, who is leading the search for Clark's replacement, has two other men in mind.

Owen Coyle and Gary Rowett are also under consideration for the St Andrew's hotseat.
