Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves is being linked with Everton.
The Liverpool Echo says Everton boss David Moyes is looking for out of contract players, who are allowed to sign outside the transfer window.
One such player, former Wolfsburg and Aston Villa midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger, 30, is under serious consideration, while former Manchester United and City player Owen Hargreaves, 31, could also be an option.
