Former Barcelona and Manchester United keeper Victor Valdes will discuss personal terms and undergo a medical with Premier League new boys Middlesbrough on Thursday.
The 34-year-old left Old Trafford after falling out with former manager Louis van Gaal, who said last summer Valdes had refused to play in an Under-21 game.
