Former Manchester United and Everton assistant coach Steve Round won't be following David Moyes to Real Sociedad.
Round admits his next move will be to take a manager's post himself.
He told Sirius XM: "At the end of our time at Manchester United, we decided to have a little break, see our families a bit.
"We reconvened, and we've been in contact pretty much every day since, and right from that day, I spoke to David about the possibility of going into management, as a head coach. I felt that was the next career step for me and so did he.
"He felt it was the right time for me to do it, so it's bit really come about that I said I'd come with him to Sociedad or anywhere else.
"He knows the career path I want to take now, is fully supportive of that and will help as best he can, and I'm the same with him. Now I need to be my own boss and be my own man."
