Former Manchester United defender John Curtis will be unveiled in Gold Coast United's colours for the first time tonight when they take on Palm Beach tonight.
United meet the Gold Coast Premier League outfit at Mallawa Drive and head coach Miron Bleiberg confirmed that Curtis would step out as the club continues to prepare for their season opener with the Brisbane Roar early next month.
"There will be about 20 players used and ideally we want everyone to get 45 minutes under their belts," he said.
"The team will include our Brazilians Robson and Anderson as well as our new recruit John Curtis.
"Only Jason (Culina) and Shane (Smeltz) will be absent as they don't rejoin us until mid-July.
"Every player wants to be in the first eleven for the opening game against the Roar so you will see everyone giving 100 per cent during these training games."
