Former Manchester United defender Henning Berg is a candidate for the Millwall job.

The Daily Star Sunday says Norwegian Berg was sacked after just 57 days at Blackburn Rovers and eventually won £2.5million compensation for unpaid wages after a court battle with owners Venky's.

The ex-Man United star, 43, had successful spells with Lyn and Lillestrom before his Rovers stint.

Kenny Jackett resigned earlier this month after six years in charge at The Den.
