Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen is in talks with Fulham.
The Daily Express says club owner Shahid Khan has had talks with Meulensteen, throwing fresh doubts over the future of manager Martin Jol, whose team have suffered four defeats from their last five league games.
Khan met Meulensteen, 49, last week and it is believed the Dutchman has made it clear he wants the job if Jol goes.
