Former Manchester United captain Antonio Valencia wants to return to Europe.

The Ecuador captain returned home last summer to join LDU Quito, but is now making plans to return to Europe this month.

Foot Mercato says Valencia's agents are touting him to French clubs - including Dijon and Olympique Lyon.

There are also claims of the 34 year-old returning to England and signing for a Championship club in the coming weeks.

Valencia has been happy with Quito but is missing the competitive edge of the Premier League and feels he still has something to offer in Europe.
