Ex-Man Utd captain Keane blasts Bayern Munich's 'mad' defending

Roy Keane has hit out at Bayern Munich's defence following their Champions League clash with Barcelona on Tuesday night.

The German giants ended up defeating Barca 3-2 at the Allianz Arena but lost the two-legged semi-final 5-3 on aggregate which prompted the criticism from former Manchester United skipper Keane.

In reference to Neymar's first-half brace, Keane pointed out Pep Guardiola's defenders as the main problem area for the Bavarians.

"It reminds me of a kid when you play football in the street. It's almost first to 10 wins the game. It's just been mad," he said in his role as ITV pundit.

"Strange enough Bayern Munich have been very, very good going forward but defensively they've been shocking. We said before the game, you give players like (Luis) Suarez, Neymar and (Lionel) Messi time and space, they will hurt you. We've said it over and over again.

"Very simple stuff. Shocking defending. If an Under-18 did that, you'd be pulling your hair out."
