Former Manchester City striker John Guidetti is at the centre of Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof's decision to pull out of Sweden's squad yesterday.

Now with Alaves, Guidetti was dropped by Sweden coach Janne Anderson - a decision that angered Lindelof, it is being claimed.

The pair have the same agent in Hasan Cetinkaya and have known each other for several years, but the Swedish Football Association (SvFF) rejects that this has anything to do with the matter.

"It is of course boring that Victor chooses to cancel a selection, but we have full understanding of his decision," said Andersson.

Fotbollskanalen says Lindelof is also unhappy playing for Andersson.
