Former Manchester City defender Pablo Mari is celebrating today as a Copa Libertadores winner with Flamengo.
The Spaniard, having been with City since 2016, was sold by the English champions to Fla last summer for a cut-price €2m.
The deal was pushed by Fla coach Jorge Jesus, who started Mari in Saturday's 2-1 Copa final victory over River Plate.
The 26 year-old, who spent much of his three years at City away on-loan, becomes the first Spaniard to win the Copa Libertadores.
Mari also scored in the semifinal triumph over Gremio.
