Former Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is sorry to hear of Michael Johnson's retirement.

The Swede spoke of his sadness that Johnson has mental health problems and has been released by Manchester City.

Eriksson, Johnson's manager at City, said: "I was shocked, he's a good man."
