Ex-Liverpool trainee involved as Mini unhappy RBK snapped up Norwich veteran Tettey

Rosenborg great Mini Jakobsen has questioned their deal for Alex Tettey

The 35 year-old signed for RBK this week after leaving Norwich City following their return to the Premier League.

Mini says he has concerns Tettey will block the progress of former Liverpool youth teamer Edvard Tagseth.

He told VG: "You get a certain age in that midfield now. (Per Ciljan) Skjelbred and Tettey are absolutely brilliant to be associated with the club, but they have a great talent in Edvard Tagseth who has great ambitions to play in that midfield.

"I am unsure of the signal you send when players at the end of their careers come home.

"Tettey is a giant. In isolation, it's brilliant signing, but I might rather focus on Tagseth. Now you have six or seven class players who will fight for three places. I guess you do not pick up Tettey to sit on the bench."
