Liverpool legend Roberto Firmino is heading to Saudi Arabia for the next part of his career.

The Brazilian attacker, who was out of contract with the Reds this month, is signing for Al Ahli.

Per Fabrizio Romano, Firmino will complete his medical and sign the relevant documents in the coming days.

The former Liverpool forward will be joining Edouard Mendy at Al Ahli, with the Saudi Pro League making huge moves to sign European-based players this summer.

The moves started with Cristiano Ronaldo joining Al Nassr last winter, with Karim Benzema following suit this summer.

It appears ex-Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard is also heading to Saudi for a managerial role.
