Ex-Liverpool starlet Mackay-Steven in no hurry to quit Dundee United

Dundee United winger Gary Mackay-Steven says he is not about to depart the club amidst rumours he could be on the move.

Tangerines boss Peter Houston has suggested the 21-year old former Liverpool youth academy attacker has the capabilities to make it at a bigger club but Mackay-Steven, who arrived at Tannadice Park from Airdrie United a year ago, is happy where he is.

"I see my future at Tannadice just now. They gave me my big chance and I'm enjoying my football here," he told Record Sport.

"We can go places with the team we've put together so my future is here. I'm playing every week and I need that.

"We believe we can do good things if we all stick together. We're a close-knit and talented bunch."
