Former Liverpool and Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is not going to River Plate.

The Uruguayan attacker was expected to sign for the South American giants.

However, he has turned them down after their due to their Copa Libertadores exit.

Suarez told Ovacion: "A month and a half ago, I declared that I was not going to leave Europe.

"But River insisted and insisted so much that I came to consider it, and there was a possibility.
