Former Liverpool star Luis Suarez was over the moon after finally getting the opportunity to play next to Fernando Torres.
Barcelona striker Suarez joined the Reds from Ajax in Janaury 2011, the same month Torres departed Anfield to join Chelsea.
The Uruguayan teamed up with the Atletico Madrid man in Sunday's charity match between Steven Gerrard's XI and Jamie Carragher's XI at Anfield and said it was a thrill to get play alongside the Spaniard.
"It was great for me to play up front alongside Fernando," he told LFC GO channel.
"Four years ago when I signed for Liverpool, I crossed my fingers to play with Fernando and he left three days after I signed.
"It was a great day for the other players but for me and Fernando it was a great chance to play together."
