Marco Di Vaio was not soaking up too much of the limelight after scoring a hat-trick for Montreal Impact on the weekend.
The Italian veteran netted all of his goals in the first half as the Impact beat Philadelphia Union 5-3 to take his season tally to nine from 11 appearances but he was more interested in helping his side win rather than taking the scoring glory.
"I only want to help the team win," he told the Montreal Gazette. "I'm glad I was able to score some goals and help the team come off the field at half time with some confidence.
"It's not every day I score three goals. It's good for my confidence, but the main thing is it helped the team win the game."
