Former Inter Milan striker David Suazo is thrilled with his return to Cagliari.
Honduras star Suazo was a hero for Sardinian supporters when he left for Inter in 2007, but spent most of that time on the bench or on loan to Benfica and Genoa.
As of Friday, 31-year-old Suazo completed his comeback by signing a one-year contract with an option to extend for a second term.
"I am so happy that I can return to Cagliari," he told Honduran newspaper Diez.
"I thank God for this opportunity. I want to go back to playing like I did in the old days."
