Former Inter Milan and Monaco striker Mohamed Kallon has admitted he is keen on a move to the USA.

"Shaanxi want to renew my contract but I want be near my daughter who is in school in the USA," Kallon told BBC Sport.

"My daughter is in school in the US because there are no English speaking schools in Xian and I'm not happy about that."

The much-traveled Kallon revealed that some clubs have already enquired about his services and that he will decide on his next career path in the New Year.

"I've had offers from clubs in other Asian countries, Europe and the USA and my decision will be based on what's best for my family," he added.

"I will take my time and make my final decision in January."
