Seattle Sounders midfielder Brad Evans is excited about the budding relationship being formed by Eddie Johnson and Obafemi Martins.
The pair are starting to gel nicely up front for the Sounders, as evident in Wednesday night's 2-0 home win over DC United in which Martins netted a brace, and Evans was looking forward to the partnership getting even better as time progresses.
"That's part of the game, learning to play with each other and part of the fun of soccer for us on the outside to learn not just what Eddie wants and Oba wants, but what they need at the right time to play off each other," said Evans, who played Martins through for his 20th minute opener.
"We'll still look at tape and discuss it as a team and figure out what they want.
"Those two guys will be dangerous. Once they form that bond that strikers do, and I think they will, it's going to be fun."
