Former Liverpool and Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy admits he has ambitions to manage.
He wrote in the Daily Mail: "Long term, I'd like to manage. I am not somebody who thinks I could walk straight in and be good. The best managers I have had have been good coaches. At the top level it's largely managing egos and personalities, but I want to be good at coaching.
"I don't care how far down I have to go to get that background. I want to be planning sessions, working on tactics. I am happy to go to work with reserves, academies, anything. I am not egotistical enough to think I am above any of that."
