Former Fiorentina coach Delio Rossi is being linked with Cagliari.

Massimo Ficcadenti is under pressure in Sardinia.

"Could Cagliari be my next club? Well, seeing as I've already worked in Sicily and on the mainland, I am missing Sardinia to make the collection complete," he told Pubblico Giornale.

"When I receive a serious proposal that satisfies me then I will accept it. Clearly this has to be based on a long-term project, taking into account my working methods and history.

"I would like Cagliari, but I'd also like to work abroad at some point."
